A good education is a foundation for a better future
Education is a basic human right. However, because of poverty, lack of infrastructure, and lack of quality of education, the underprivileged children opt to remain uneducated or leave the studies half-way. At Shubhashree, we aim to provide infrastructure, financial assistance, and quality education to such children. Education will not only help these children for a better livelihood but also empower them to become responsible citizens.
In 2010, though, the GOI implemented Right to Education (RTE) Act offering free and compulsory education to all children of age 6 to 14 years, the education graph is still on down side. This is because of the lack of awareness and poor socio-economic conditions of the families. There are different phases of academic life - ages 1 to 5 (pre-school years), ages 6 to 13 (primary years), ages 13 to 16 (secondary years), ages 16 to 19 (junior years), 19+ (professional years). By nurturing these academic years of these children they will get right direction and the right opportunities to increase their probability of living a privileged life.
At Shubhashree, we aim to provide infrastructure, and quality education to these children. It is achieved by identifying with keen interest to learn, develop, specific skills. Providing them expert assistance, career counselling, scholarships, and financial aid for further education. Secondly, we also aim to partner with schools catering to underprivileged children or schools in rural areas. Such schools can be provided with better infrastructure, scholarships, technology, and improved quality of education.
LIVELIHOOD
India is the youngest nation with more than 62% of its population in the age group of 15 to 50 years, and more than 53% below the age group of 30 years. Today’s young generation is struggling to get rid of the unrest and inequalities in the society. It requires more efforts to make the nation free from poverty, malnutrition, corruption, and unemployment. This young generation or youth are the most dynamic, important but neglected segment of the society. With such a large number of youth population India could see tremendous growth.
By providing education and technology-led platforms to the children, the nation will get a whole new generation of educated and responsible youths. To improve their livelihood further, Shubhashree aim to provide them professional assistance. This will help them for employment, self-employment, starting a micro/nano business, entrepreneurship. It is our aim to provide them career counselling, training for job interviews and professional development, financial assistance, technology platforms, and, mentorship to start a small business, or become an entrepreneur.
TECHNOLOGY PLATFORMS
If you go back few hundred years, what we take for granted today would seem like magic – being able to talk people miles aways, to transmit images, exploring other planets, space, robotic surgeries, etc. Technology has aided civilization in a variety of ways, the most notable of which are health care, education, business solutions, and communication. Society and technology are intricately linked. In our daily lives, we use and rely on technology, and our technical necessities and demands continue to increase. To travel, communicate, learn, do business, and live comfortably, humans rely on technology.
At Shubhashree, we aim to provide latest technology-led platforms to underprivileged population. Example, providing technical infrastructure like computer labs, science labs, e-learning platforms, etc. these tech-platforms will enhance the quality, flexibility of education and consistency of population using it. Secondly, our aim to provide technology led solutions to micro/nano business owners, entrepreneurs to accelerate their businesses to new heights.
